Entry & ID5 questions

Do I need to collect a paper ticket, and who has to?

If you booked with a mainland ID card, scan the original card at the gate and no paper ticket is needed. If you booked with a passport or a Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan travel document, bring the original documents for every guest to the ticket office on the show day and collect paper seat vouchers there.

What if I do not have my original ID with me?

You can use your own electronic ID, household register or driver licence at the ticket office. It must be your own document. Quoting an ID number or presenting a document belonging to someone else will not work.

How strict is the name check?

Entry is checked guest by guest. The name on the ticket, the ID document and the person holding it must match, and you cannot enter using a document that belongs to another person.
